Biography

Maggie Aldridge is a vocalist and singer-songwriter based out of Johnson City, TN. Growing up in the Appalachian Mountains in the small town of Mountain City, Maggie made a name for herself locally as the town’s soft-spoken singer-songwriter, inspired most by her father- who taught her the love of music from the age of 4. She has lived a lot in 24 years- this is reflected by her music. Her gentle and expressive songs put emphasis on storytelling- broadcasting emotion subtly, in a way that welcomes anyone to relate.

Her voice rests at the intersection of soothing and soulful- somewhere between the jazz-folk influence of Norah Jones and the pop coffeehouse sound of Ingrid Michaelson. She is content in both the intimate environment of a peaceful cafe, and the upbeat vibe of a blues or jazz bar.

Maggie graduated from Belmont University in the spring of 2023. She studied Commercial Voice with an emphasis in Music Business. Since graduation, she has moved back and is thrilled to be immersed in the rich music scene of Johnson City, TN.
